Symptom:
Generation and Release of activation code results in phone.activationcode.fails message

Conditions:
Condition:
1)Login to CCMAdmin.
2)Access the path Device >Device Settings>Device Defaults. In Device Defaults Configuration page set On-premise Onboarding Method is set to "Activation Code" for Cisco Webex Room Phone type or any other phone that supports activation code on boarding.
3)Access Device->Phone. Add Devices that support on premise on boarding involving activation code.
4)Post providing mandatory details and make sure add is successful. Further,check the checkbox against Require Activation Code for Onboarding. Though activation code is generated, phone.activationcode.fails message is seen in top most LHC of Phone configuration page. Same error message is seen when Release Activation Code button is clicked.
