Cisco Bug: CSCvt26449 - ESC applies default interface netmask and gateway settings when missing in depXML (CSP VIM type)
Jun 10, 2020
- Cisco Elastic Services Controller
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When ESC is performing a deployment on CSP, if the deployment XML does not specify the netmask or gateway for an interface, ESC applies default netmask 255.255.255.0 and gateway interface_IP_prefix.1. These defaults will conflict with the actual values provisioned through day0 variables. The net result of applying defaults is the generation of NB Netconf notifications towards the orchestrator that conflict with values actually configured. This can cause service deployments to be marked as failed (e.g. SAE solution deployments). Conditions: ESC deployments on CSP VIM type (e.g. SAE).
