Cisco Bug: CSCvt23416 - Prime Infrastructure 3.7 stuck while adding base license from old PI server

- Cisco Prime Infrastructure
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Prime Infrastructure 3.7 may become stuck while adding the base license from an old Prime Infrastructure server. Conditions: This was observed when a new 3.7 instance was deployed, and the base license from the previous box (which was running 3.1) to the new server and the GUI became stuck. You can not do anything. You can not remove the added license or cannot add any additional licenses. it was noticed that the old Base license has node info like the following: HOSTID=HOSTNAME=PRIME-NCS-VAPL:dffgoxxi01:94bsdsdds40-3221-11e4-XXX-0XXXXX8d6 Even though Prime Infrastructure has removed the node lock feature, when this kind of base license is added, the GUI gets stuck. To clear the error, the services must be restarted, and the license removed from the CLI. This GUI lockup is not observed if a license is added where the node info is like this: HOSTID=HOSTNAME=PRIME-INFRA-APL:ANY:ANY After adding a license like this, problematic base license can be added, and it will work fine.
