Cisco Bug: CSCvt19514 - CWMP unexpectedly triggers DHCP discovery on every CWMP process run
Aug 12, 2020
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: 1. CWMP triggers DHCP discovery and delays process by 12 seconds on every run 2. The DHCP discovery is sent with unexpected values: - using default vendor class-id (ciscopnp) even though one is configured under the interface; - class-id "CWMP"; - "Client MAC address field" is populated with MAC address of the first interface of the router (although L2 src MAC is correct for the interface). 3. "Temp IP addr: 0.0.0.0 " may be seen for a short period of time under the "show dhcp lease" Conditions: CWMP+DHCP configured on the device.
