Cisco Bug: CSCvt17682 - Ability for DL members to access the end user spam quarantine link

Last Modified

Apr 03, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Email Security Appliance

Known Affected Releases

13.5.1-066

Description (partial)

Symptom:
messages delivered to a DL cannot be seen for the users belonging to that DL
The explanation for this comes from the point in where the ‘user’ for the SPAM Quarantine receiving those messages considered SPAM and who supposed to have the rights of release, delete etc.. the mails is not a normal user not having for starters a mailbox, being only a DL entity.

Since is not an user it’ll not be able to login on the quarantine, not having a valid username and password linked to the email account assigned to the DL, not being able see or act on any of the quarantined messages.
