Cisco Bug: CSCvt11812 - UDT Import/Export Ignores Line Settings When DN Not Configured

Last Modified

Sep 03, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

12.5(1.10000.22)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Universal Device Template BAT import does not import line settings.

When exporting or importing a Universal Device Template, the line details (Line Label, Display, Max # of Calls, etc...) are not included.

Conditions:
CM Admin -> Bulk Administration -> Import/Export -> Export -> Select 'Universal Device Template' -> Run Job.

Download .tar file from Bulk Administration -> Add/download files.

Within .tar file, in .csv file, we can see all the fields for Universal Device template (Line fields- EPNM, Line Label, Display, Busy trigger etc.), however if these fields are added using csv file and imported using BAT, job completes successfully (without any error) but no changes seen in CUCM.
