Known Affected Releases
Symptom: -CUCM version 18.104.22.16813-1 running on CentOS on UCS platform. -CTI service crashes due to hitting the 4 gig memory limit. The size of the core file will be 4 gig. -This is due to a memory leak in CTIManager. - You will see thousands of these alarms filling up the application event log: Feb 10 03:01:25 cisco-lab local5 3 : 965242: cisco-lab.cisco.com: Feb 10 2020 02:01:25.712 UTC : %UC_CTI-3-CtiProviderOpenFailure: %[CTIconnectionId=965329][Reason=-1932787616][IPAddress=redacted][IPv6Address=][AppID=Cisco CTIManager][ClusterID=StandAloneCluster][NodeID=cisco-lab.cisco.com]: CTI application failed to open provider; application startup failed Conditions: Applications connecting to CTIManager and failing to authenticate. This happens repeatedly - hundreds or thousands of times per day. CTIManager is running on CentOS on the UCS platform. The application login failures produce the CtiProviderOpenFailureAlarm, and each time that alarm is generated CTIManager will leak memory.
