Known Affected Releases
Symptom: As of January 12, 2020 Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 7. Cisco Jabber Softphone for VDI (JVDI) - 12.8 was released on January 22, 2020 and as such should have Windows 7 removed from the supported operating systems. Standard Jabber for Windows 12.8 has already removed Windows 7 from the supported operating systems so we need JVDI 12.8 to reflect the same. The Windows 7 operating system should be removed from the following sections of the JVDI 12.8 release note: 1) Operating Systems—Installed on the Hosted Virtual Desktop 2) Microsoft Windows—Installed on the Thin Clients 3) Windows Embedded Standard—Installed on the Thin Clients Document Link: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jvdi/12_8/rns/win/jvdi_b_release-notes-jvdi-windows-12-8.html Conditions: Cisco Jabber Softphone for VDI (JVDI) for Windows 12.8
