Description (partial)

Symptom:
When an user wants to transfer a call using Jabber on Chrome default keypad is phone type, only number keys, * and #.  On the mobile and tablet, user can switch to full mode to input letters.
On hardware keypad, there is no key to switch mode, then user only can input numbers.

Google Chrome OS
