Description (partial)

Network connectivity for a Linux application fails, because some required configuration is missing from a Linux interface.

Affected Linux applications include IOS XR Install, gRPC, and ZTP, as well as Third Party Applications.

This issue is only present for Cisco IOS XR software running on the Network Convergence System 540L or 8000 series platforms.

The problem can arise if configuration for an interface is modified at the same time as the interface is moved to a different VRF. The problem can only arise as a result of a configuration change; it does not spontaneously occur in steady state.
