Cisco Bug: CSCvt06541 - GS7000 iNode OIB fails to boot after 7 consecutive boot failures
Apr 28, 2020
- Cisco cBR Series Converged Broadband Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: If a deployed iNode has only one software image and fails to boot 7 consecutive times, it will not boot until serviced. Downstream RF will continue to be passed by the node but neither two-way communication nor iNode control will be possible. Conditions: The boot limit has occurred if the iNode fails to boot 7 consecutive. This has been observed during periods of unstable local power, but there may be other scenarios that cause this. This problem will occur if a second/backup image is not loaded on the iNode/OIB prior to the failure condition.
