Cisco Bug: CSCvt02227 - Sub-interface counters missing in SNMP

Last Modified

Apr 27, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

9.3(3)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The svi-counters are not correctly reflected under the SNMP variables for Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches.

Conditions:
* N9k running 9.3(3) - or other release supporting SVI and sub-interface counters
* "hardware profile svi-and-si flex-stats-enable" configured and device reloaded afterwards.
* "show interface port-channel X/Y counters" for sub-interface shows the byte/packet count for both ingress and egress direction

* however the SNMP variable "IF-MIB::ifInUcastPkts" always indicates "0"
 The remaining values seem to be correct:
 - IF-MIB::ifInOctets
 - IF-MIB::ifOutOctets
- IF-MIB::ifOutUcastPkts
