Cisco Bug: CSCvs99211 - FLOGI PSS inconsistency seen with DPVM configuration

Last Modified

Sep 29, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco MDS 9000 Series Multilayer Switches

Known Affected Releases

8.4(2.220)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
FLOGI PSS inconsistency seen with DPVM configuration on MDS switches

Conditions:
From 8.4.2 release onwards, consistency checker for fport server will show up an inconsistency for the attribute 'Port Vsan Runtime Data' if there is dpvm configuration done by user and the configured pwwn logged on that switch . This inconsistency will remain even if the dpvm configuration is removed (even if user does all this configuration in <8.4.2 release and then upgraded to 8.4.2, this inconsistency will still start showing up). However, there is no functional impact for this inconsistency and we can ignore it.?
