Cisco Bug: CSCvs97430 - SAML authentication -- can put special signes like '@' in the login window when German keyboard set
Jun 18, 2020
- Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: This problem occurs when a user using the AnyConnect client tries to connect to an ASA with the group-policy using SAML authentication. The user is prompted for username and password, but it does not allow the user to input special characters such as the "@" sign as part of the username, which is common when using Microsoft UPN as the username, for example, firstname.lastname@example.org. This works when the username is copy and pasted in, it just cannot be typed in. Conditions: This problem happens with SAML authentication when the username contains special characters such as the "@"character in it.
