Description (partial)

A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to generate a spreadsheet file including arbitrary OS commands.

The vulnerability is due to the improper input validation validation in the web-based interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted packets to an affected device containing arbitrary OS or spredsheet Macro commands. These commands may be exported into a spredsheet file and executed, if opened by a user with specific spreadsheet reader program configurations. An exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the victim user's system.

Device running with default configuration.
