Cisco Bug: CSCvs93662 - Jabber Feature Guide does not say how to get CMR capabilities

Last Modified

Aug 25, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Jabber for Windows

Known Affected Releases

12.6(0) 12.6(1) 12.6(2) 12.7(0) 12.7(1.1) 12.8(0)

Description (partial)

When User joins to a CMR meeting via Cisco Jabber, they do not get complete Meeting features/controls. They will get those features/controls based on either of two things/conditions

1. Enable Locus / CI for the WebEx Site (To get all CMR meeting controls)
2. Enable IX (To get the participant list alone and no other controls are available)

However, the above 2 conditions are not mentioned in our Jabber feature guide. Our Jabber feature guide just says the controls are available but doesn't say that the user should be enabled for Locus/CI or should have IX capability.

This should be mentioned in our Jabber docs. And also, there should be a hyperlink or info on how to enable Locus/CI and IX capability for the device.
