Cisco Bug: CSCvs91178 - J2: Scaled ACL modification on J2 bundle interface causes BoB flap on a different J2 bundle

Last Modified

May 07, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Network Convergence System 5500 Series

Known Affected Releases

7.0.2.LC

Description (partial)

Symptom:
BFD sessions on bundle (BoB) flap on J2 bundle member interfaces, when an ACL which has more than 400 ACEs are configured using object-groups.

Conditions:
BFD flaps are seen on ACE modification in big ACLs (IPv4/IPv6), which are attached to the same bundle interface which has BFD configured. The ACL would need around 400 plus entries in an object group for this problem to be seen.

Without object group, if those ACEs are configured in traditional way, the issue will never be seen
