Description (partial)

Symptom:
Comprehensive Call Flow, if the customer uses the GD microapp on the script and with the following settings as example 8,8,Y,3,5,1,1,N,N,N, the micro-app should exit on the fail portion when the "Number of Entry Tries" and "Number of Invalid Tries" is set to 1 but, with DTMF digit #1 this behavior changes.

When prompt expects multiple digits [e.g. min,max=8], VVB will try to match the first DTMF #1 with 2 grammars having regex pattern as [#\d\*]{8,8} and (?:1)

As DTMF #1 matches with grammar#2, the matcher doesn't set "No Match" as true. Grammar (?:1) is used for barge-in grammar.

So when digit timeout happens VVB doesn't throw no-match event and tries to re-prompt. If in the same test DTMF #2 is pressed VVB will throw no-match event.

Conditions:
Comprehensive Call Flow with VVB
