Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

16.6.4 16.6.7 16.9.4

Description (partial)

custom output service policy unexpectedly remarks DSCP marking for all traffic regardless of what class map the outgoing traffic is classified too.

in order to reproduce this behavior to general conditions must be met on the same switch. For traffic that has a certain DSCP marking that is entering and being forwarded by the switch, lets call the ingressing interface the access interface and the egressing interface the uplink;

1. dscp table map is placed under the class class-default of the custom output service policy that is used for uplink
2. a table map is used on the input service policy for class class-default on the access interface
