Cisco Bug: CSCvs87014 - BGP-VPNv4 label can't be removed from mpls table

Last Modified

Sep 02, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

7.2.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Stale MPLS labels or rewrites exist in the show mpls label table or show mpls forwarding, but the same route no longer exists in BGP.

Conditions:
In very rare situations, when BGP is configured to use MPLS and an RP fail-over occurs just as BGP was withdrawing an MPLS rewrite. This affects all platforms, and all releases prior to integration of the fix.
