Symptom:
Problem Details

Customers invoking WebChat request through Internet Explorer see a blank window. This is caused due to JavaScript CORS unable to render the iFrame. We need a method to allow WebChat originating webportal to be allowed in the CORS configuration on the ECE webservers.

Use case

Chrome
1. Open the ECE_Chat_fresh.html file with the Google Chrome
2. Click the Test Fresh Chat link
3. Click OK on the web pop-up messages
4. Chat session initiated successfully

Internet explorer
1. Open the ECE_Chat_fresh.html file with the Google Chrome
2. Click the Test Fresh Chat link
3. Click OK on the web pop-up messages
4. The chat session returns with error message. "Sorry, we were unable to start a chat. Error code: 400-112"
