Cisco Bug: CSCvs81468 - Introduce configurable limit on the number of NHRP cache entries per peer/global
Jul 20, 2020
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: This is a feature request to provide a mechanism wherein there is a default NHRP cache entry limit and which can be configurable. This will discard the oldest NHRP entries when the limit is reached. Also, a syslog message plus counters should be implemented to show that the NHRP entries have been deleted due to limit being hit. Conditions: Router configured as a DMVPN or FlexVPN spoke.
