Cisco Bug: CSCvs81264 - ISE PassiveID : PSN should be capable of identifying delays in mappings from PassiveID agent

Last Modified

  • Cisco Identity Services Engine

Known Affected Releases

2.4(0.905)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The current implementation on the ISE of parsing the attributes from the event received by the REST client ignores the timestamp.i.e., the Agent sends the timestamp at which this event has occurred on the DC but our PSN ignores that timestamp. What is shown in the livelogs is the time at which the MnT received it from the PSN. The timestamp sent by the agent should be utilized to calculate any delays between the PSN and the agent. Agent will tell us if there is any latency between itself and the DC, PSN should likewise be able to tell if there is any delay (most likely network delays) between the agent and itself.

Conditions:
PassiveID enabled using an agent.
