Last Modified

Apr 14, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Firepower Management Center

Known Affected Releases

6.2.3 6.3.0 6.4.0 6.5.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Getting error 500 from FMC API when using a domain uuid that is invalid or does not exist

Conditions:
Using the FMC API and using an invalid domain uuid. example URI:

/api/fmc_config/v1/domain/fake-domain/devices/devicerecords

where fake-domain in the above path is invalid, this should be a UUID, i.e. "e276abec-e0f2-11e3-8169-6d9ed49b625f"

If UUID has valid syntax but it does not exist, it also returns 500 when it should be 404
