Description (partial)

Symptom:
Issue with CUSP version 10.1 in which the trace log cannot be cleared using the GUI interface. 

The expected pop-up is seen "This action will clear the log trace files. Do you want to continue?" but the log file is still there.

Conditions:
CUSP 10.1

Trace log > 10MB
