Jun 17, 2020
- Cisco 8000 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
Release-note Symptom: In a scale (prefix and paths) setup after RPFO, the ISIS-3-ERR_RIB_BATCH_BUFFER error message may pop out and the ISIS to RIB connection may reset. If NSF is configured, RIB will not purge ISIS routes immediately after the connection down for up to 90 sec (default). During that time, ISIS will resynchronize with RIB and forwarding will not be impacted. Conditions: High scale setup with large number of prefixes and paths. When problem was reported, there were 26K prefixes with 40 ecmps.
