Cisco Bug: CSCvs73745 - Correct impact for CallManager certificate expiration

Last Modified

May 18, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

12.5(1.12900.112) 14.0(0.98000.919)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
In the doc "CUCM Certificate Regeneration/Renewal Process" in the section describing impact of expired certificates it says following regarding CallManager certificate:
"Encrypted/authenticated phones do not register."

In fact, phones with encrypted profile still register since they don't check certificate validity dates, only that it's present in CTL/ITL.

So this line needs to be removed from the doc.
