Symptom: Sup8-E#show process cpu sorted Core 0: CPU utilization for five seconds: 0%; one minute: 1%; five minutes: 3% Core 1: CPU utilization for five seconds: 0%; one minute: 1%; five minutes: 5% Core 2: CPU utilization for five seconds: 99%; one minute: 99%; five minutes: 90% <<< ISSUE IS HERE Core 3: CPU utilization for five seconds: 0%; one minute: 0%; five minutes: 1% Conditions: Insertion of a SFP (OEM or Cisco, BX or FX...) does trigger a high CPU load. A sole SFP is sufficient to repro the issue.
