Description (partial)

Symptom:
When changing the password of a device in Cisco DNA Center's Inventory by selecting Actions > Inventory > Edit Device, clicking Update may have no effect, i.e. the edit screen remains open and when closing it using the "X" icon, the device details are not updated.

Conditions:
This occurs when the new password entered contains "<", ">" or a space.
