Cisco Bug: CSCvs67835 - Request string in "show install request" is wrong when doing replace with commit
Sep 02, 2020
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When doing <CmdBold>install replace <CmdArg>replace_iso<noCmdArg> commit <noCmdArg>, the "User request" string in <CmdBold>show install request<noCmdBold> is "install apply reload" even after the transaction has been committed. Conditions: A replace with commit has been carried out to 7.1.1 from a previous release. After the apply and the commit have been carried out, the "User request" in <CmdBold>show install request<noCmdBold> is "install apply reload". To verify that the commit has gone through, check the history data using <CmdBold>show install history last transaction<noCmdBold> and look for "Transaction <transaction number> complete" in the output. Syslogs indicating the progress of the install operation will also be correct and should indicate that the transaction has been committed.
