Cisco Bug: CSCvs64425 - ASMv3: *,G got created after configuring Receiver filter
Aug 27, 2020
- Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: "*,G" got created in both MRIB and MFDM, is present for nearly 9 minutes, and then got expired. Conditions: Modify the bridge domain with a non-empty IGMP policy. For example: 1. Configure the following scenario without a PIM FC: 1.ASMv3 SIRI with Source 188.8.131.52 and Group 184.108.40.206 (Source - csgaci2-leaf1 (BD) & Receiver - csgaci1-leaf5 (BD)) 2.ASMv3 SIRI with Source 220.127.116.11 and Group 18.104.22.168 (Source - csgaci1-leaf2 (BD) & Receiver - csgaci1-leaf5 (BD)) 2. Check MRIB and MFDM >>> Showing only S,G as expected, as this is ASMv3. 3. Configure the Receiver filter with an empty route-map and associate it to the csgaci1-leaf5 bridge domain.
