Symptom: When trying to configure a new 9800-40 WLC HA Pair, the NAS-ID field does not appear on the AP Join Profile as explained in the online configure guide. "CDP Interface In the CDP Interface tab, enable the CDP state, if required. Enter the group NAS ID. Network Access Server identifier (NAS-ID) is sent to the RADIUS server by the controller through an authentication request to classify users to different groups so that the RADIUS server can send a customized authentication response. Click Save & Apply to Device." The CDP Interface TAB exists and can enable/disable CDP as described but the NAS ID field is not available. This should be the same no matter the software version as explained in all these configuration guides: 16.10.x https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/config-guide/b_wl_16_10_cg/new-configuration-model.html 16.11.x https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/16-11/config-guide/b_wl_16_11_cg/new-configuration-model.html 16.12.x https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/16-12/config-guide/b_wl_16_12_cg/new-configuration-model.html Conditions: None.
