Jan 22, 2020
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: DHCP servers running on Cisco devices show infinite leasing for all manually bound IPs. This is true for default lease time configuration and manually set lease time configuration. Remote device get the correct lease which means correct value is being sent through the DHCP packets. cat9ktest#show run | sec dhcp ip dhcp use subscriber-id client-id ip dhcp subscriber-id interface-name ip dhcp excluded-address 184.108.40.206 ip dhcp ping packets 1 ip dhcp pool 0 network 220.127.116.11 255.255.255.0 lease 0 0 4 address 18.104.22.168 client-id "Gi2/0/1" ascii errdisable recovery cause dhcp-rate-limit class-map match-any system-cpp-police-dhcp-snooping description DHCP snooping cat9ktest#show ip dhcp binding Bindings from all pools not associated with VRF: IP address Client-ID/ Lease expiration Type State Interface Hardware address/ User name 22.214.171.124 0047.6932.2f30.2f31 Infinite Manual Selecting Unknown Conditions: All IOS, IOS-XE switches running as DHCP servers with manual DHCP binding configuration.
