Symptom: Repeated occurrences of npumgr "Nonfatal warning at messenger/xpt_tcp.c:1030" crash records. Repeated occurrences of following npumgr error log: 2020-Dec-23+14:45:15.291 [npumgr-port 166001 error] [5/0/10702 <npumgr:50> _vnpu_handler.c:1510] [software internal system syslog] Ignoring iftask request 0x800d (present 1). Repeated occurrences of following log on affected card's console: 2019-Dec-23+14:51:44.790 card 5-cpu0: IFTASK ipc thread congestion Repeated occurrences of following log in iftask logs (single digit expiration counts are not an indication): Tue May 26 09:04:00 2020 PID:7498 APP: Utility timerfd read returned 21 expirations. Repeated occurrences of following log in host node dmesg: Dec 22 13:19:20 tysCSsv01104-cp01 kernel: i40e 0000:5e:00.0: Unable to send the message to VF 15 aq_err 12 Conditions: Problem occurs on VPC-DI/SI systems configured with XL710 NICs. Trigger condition(s) are unknown.
