Description (partial)

Messages such as the following are emitted from SysDB and GSP processes.

gsp[255]: %OS-gsp-3-MSG_ENQUEUE_ISSUE : Process pkg/bin/icpe_satmgr (pid 561490) not picking up messages, 1 msgs dropped. 10001 msgs pending, taking 7319208 bytes
sysdb_svr_admin[450]: %SYSDB-SYSDB-6-TIMEOUT_EDM : EDM request for 'admin/oper/inventory/rack/0/entity/131/entity/0/attrib/inv_basic_bag' from 'ntpdc' (jid 218, node 0/1/CPU0). No response from 'invmgr' (jid 268, node 0/RP0/CPU0) within the timeout period (100 seconds)
sysdb_shared_nc[447]: %SYSDB-SYSDB-6-TIMEOUT_EDM : EDM request for 'oper/n_v_satellite/gl/satellite_status/' from 'icpe_show_satellite' (jid 65946, node 0/RP0/CPU0). No response from 'icpe_satmgr' (jid 1192, node 0/RP0/CPU0) within the timeout period (100 seconds)

The output of show process blocked shows that the icpe_satmgr and sysdb_mc processes on the active RP are blocked on each other.

The problem is observed only in nV Satellite systems. The problem occurs when polling for operational information such as that in show interfaces and show nv satellite status concurrently and at a high rate via both SNMP and the CLI over a period of many hours. In these circumstances the problem is not always observed as it is due to an unusual timing condition.
