Cisco Bug: CSCvs53958 - MSC-Contract name including ':' & import from apic to msc & redeploy will purge ':'in contract name
Jan 20, 2020
- Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Contractname including special character ':' and imported from apic to Multi-site controller then redeploy back to APIC will purge ':' from contract name and creates a stale contract entry in apic. Conditions: The contract is created in the APIC with a : in the name (this is allowed in the APIC) The contract is imported into the MSO (and displayed with its : still in the ?display name? and ?name?) The contract deployed to the APIC and a renamed duplicate is created with out the : (with the msc-<tenant> prefix) - this object is now an orphan.
