Known Affected Releases

Gibraltar-16.12.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
A 9300L-48P switch running 16.12.1 may stop providing POE on certain ports. The affected ports will show as "faulty" in the "show power inline" output

Example
show power inline
<snip>
Gi1/0/41  auto   faulty     0.0     n/a                 n/a   30.0
Gi1/0/42  auto   faulty     0.0     n/a                 n/a   30.0
Gi1/0/43  auto   faulty     0.0     n/a                 n/a   30.0

In some cases "Power Controller reports power supply over heat" logs may also be generated for the "faulty" ports

show logging
<snip>
