Cisco Bug: CSCvs48711 - Controller shows LAN port Status UP even though the status at the AP side is Down and Protocol UP

Symptom: When we enable a LAN port of a 1815w AP and assign a RLAN, the port "Protocol" comes UP. In the AP side we will see Protocol Up and then the Status of the port depends if we have a device connected or not: 1815w#show ip int br Interface IP-Address Method Status Protocol Speed Duplex wired0 192.168.79.254 DHCP up up 1000 full <==== Device connected wired1 n/a n/a down up n/a n/a <==== NO device connected wired2 n/a n/a up up 1000 full <==== Device connected wired3 n/a n/a down up n/a n/a <==== No device connected From the WLC side, the WLC will not differenciate between Stats and Protocol and will simply show "Status" "UP" for the ports with "Protocol" "UP" and "Status" "Down" for ports not enabled in the AP group. This is a cosmetic issue but WLC should present coherent states for "Protocol" and "Status". Conditions: AP 1815W with Port enabled in the AP group and no device connected.
