16.12.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Currently, 9800 uses aabbccddeeff format for MAC addresses in Option 82 for EoGRE, which does not match AireOS behavior which uses aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff. This is to be consistent with with other features that use Option 82 (non-EoGRE).

This enhancement is to make the format configurable and allow using different MAC address formats for smoother AireOS migration.

Conditions:
Option 82 for EoGRE
