Description (partial)

N7K with FCoE connection, hosts on fex devices, storage devices on N7K modules directly.

After a supervisor switchover it was seen that fex attached ESX hosts had problems with latency and even storage path loss.

It was determined that the switch fex combination starts to transmit link level pause frames (llfc) after a sup switchover instead of priority flow control (pfc) frames.
