Cisco Bug: CSCvs43198 - CWMS System Expansion with Internal SSL SAN certificate changes documentation
Jan 16, 2020
- Cisco Webex Meetings Server
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When expanding the deployment size of CWMS system (example 800 Users to 2000 Users) which has Internal SSL SAN certificate, a new SAN entries must be added for the extra internal machines FQDN's (extra Media, Web). Therefore, the system will reset the Internal SSL certificate to self-signed, and the certificate must be regenerated to include the new SAN's if CA signed is needed. However, this certificate change requirement is not documented in CWMS Admin Guide - Expanding the System. Conditions: Expanding CWMS system with extra internal machines. Example: 50 > 250. 250 > 2000. 800 > 2000. 2000 > 4000+.
