Description (partial)

Supervisor crashes on cmcc ~30 min after becoming Active.

- Issue observed on dual-sup systems
- If a linecard is completely removed from the chassis (removal with no re-insertion), the slot is left empty and some time later (no matter how long) a Supervisor-failover is performed, then the new Sup that just took over the Active role will crash in approx. 30 min.
- It doesn't matter if the initial Supervisor-failover is done via cli, physically or even if it's caused by an external event, like i.e. another crash.
- After the crash caused by this defect, some of the linecards or even the Sup modules may come up in 'unhealthy' state (red status led on some linecards, some ports not forwarding traffic, 'other' state for some cards on cli 'show module', etc.). A reload of the entire chassis is required to recover from this erroneous condition.
