Cisco Bug: CSCvs33372 - For vManage and vSmart Guest OS type for vNIC Adapter Type to Deploy Controllers in VMWARE
Mar 17, 2020
- Cisco SD-WAN
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: For vManage and vSmart Guest OS type for vNIC Adapter Type to Deploy Controllers in ESXi Conditions: controllers OVA file should automatically deploy with a guest OS type that supports the VMXNET3 adapter type or there should at least be a feature option to select the guest OS type during new install/deployment. Currently Customer is changing the OS type to RedHat or Ubuntu Manually which supports VMXNET3, which is again strongly recommended to use. SO requirement is to change the behaviour on this. If it is a strong recommendation to use VMXNET3, then the OVA should be deployed with a guest OS type that allows that adapter type(RedHat or Ubuntu).
