Last Modified

Sep 01, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Small Business Wireless Access Points

Known Affected Releases

1.0.2.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When browsing through the different sections of the web menu, broadcast traffic that circulates through the wired ethernet interface behaves normally (about 5 packets per second) (see attached graphic).
- By clicking on the 'monitor' option in the web menu, "storms" of about 250 packets per second are started, which also have the default IP address of the AP (192.168.1.245) as the source IP address, which is not active, since the AP has another IP (let say 192.168.x.x) (see attached wireshark capture).
When you click on another menu option, the "storms" of broadcast traffic disappear (see attached graphic)

Conditions:
Normal
