Cisco Bug: CSCvs30092 - YANG model support missing for <hw-module profile scale l3xl> configuration command

Last Modified

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

6.6.3.BASE 7.0.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Currently there is no YANG model support for the hw-module profile command <hw-module profile scale l3xl> on Cisco ASR 9000 routers. So this data will not be available when any NETCONF-YANG client pulls the config information. This command is applicable to ASR 9000 4th Generation series of Ethernet Linecards.

Conditions:
In case Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) is used for config orchestration, this config loss may happen under the following scenario.
 - NSO does a sync-from to get all the config from the device.
 - There is an out-of-band config change on the device or config was erased.
 - Later NSO does a sync-to to get back to the original config state.

Loss of this config can impact the scale profile distribution.
