Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 5000 Series

Known Affected Releases

21.10.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
In virtualized packet core - QVPC-DI, the 'debug console' logs might show heartbeat related information in the event of, for example, card reboot due to heartbeat loss.

The format of the display is: index:drops/pings
If the index rolls over 59, the older number of pings isn't displayed for the previous set of heartbeats.

Example:

 2019-Nov-28+08:24:25.055 card 1-cpu0: di-net health to-card 10, current index 15 reports 2 drops out of 12 pings and history(index:drops/pings):
 2019-Nov-28+08:24:25.055 card 1-cpu0: 14:0/60 13:0/60 12:0/60 11:0/60 10:0/60 9:0/60 8:0/60 7:0/60 6:0/60
 2019-Nov-28+08:24:25.055 card 1-cpu0: 5:0/60 4:0/60 3:0/60 2:0/60 1:0/60 0:0/60 59:0/ 0 58:0/ 0 57:0/ 0 56:0/ 0

"57:0/ " is displayed instead of "57:0/60"

Conditions:
Applies only to VPC-DI
