Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco 3G Wireless WAN

Known Affected Releases

16.3.7

Description (partial)

Symptom:
IOS-XE devices memory utilization for linux_iosd-imag leaks.

Conditions:
Issue might be seen only when Appnav XE is enabled in the configuration.
Under specific real time triggers, memory usage of DRAM increases. One such known trigger is when very frequent SNG available alarms are seen in the device. Continuous raise and clear of this alarm causes problematic code to be triggered where memory is allocated but not freed. The alarms seen are the following:

 %APPNAV_CONTROLLER-4-SNG_UNAVAILABLE: APPNAV-CONTROLLER: Alarm #30001, Severity: Major
