Description: PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ==================== Discovered a AP crash in our ENT profile OTA Lab after about ~3hrs of run-time EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: ===================== - Zero crashes and/or radio resets TEST CASE / STEPS TO REPRODUCE: =============================== - Have an AP9120-E successfully joined to the WLC with 188.8.131.52 - Have ~50 real clients passing a variety of Enterprise traffic: FTP (Get/Put), Multicast, Ping-Sweep, Voice-Video VoIP calls, and etc. - Then observe the stability of the network/APs HOW MANY TIMES SEEN/ is it reproducible: ============================================ - 1-time in ~3hrs Logs: ===================== - Attaching AP console log & crash log Symptom: 9120-E: Crash-Reboot: Kernel panic: NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup: CPU#3 stuck for 22s! Conditions: AP9120 with 8.10 and above. The crash could be random.
