Symptom: A new option has been introduced for the AP1930 access point which provides for splitting the 5GHz radio from a single WiFi-6 radio of 8 Spatial Streams into two WiFi-6 radios of 4 Spatial Streams each. This split does not impact the 2.4GHz radio. The radio identification after the split are radio-0-2.4GHz, radio-1-5GHz(master) and radio-2-5GHz(slave). Once split, the slave or radio-2 is transmit power limited to level 8. The master or radio-1 is configurable from level 1 (Max) to level 8 (Min). The issue found is that the transmit power for radio 1 is reduced by approximately 8dBm which negates level 1 and level 2. Conditions: This issue is only seen when the new feature is selected for Dual Radio Assignment for the 5GHz radio. The transmit power does not reach the allotted maximum and is reduced by 8dBm. This reduction is seen in a reduced throughput over the normal range of the access point running its 5GHz radio.
