Description (partial)

When the configured value of an ethernet-segment is modified, L2VPN process (l2vpn_mgr) unexpectedly crashes.

This issue affects IOS XR release 7.0.90 on the ASR9k and NCS5500 platforms.

The issue occurs during configuration change.

Changing the ethernet-segment identifier values on a Layer3 interface synchronised for IGMP, with a single in-place modify sequence, results in a crash.

The issue only occurs if the ethernet-segment identifier change is made on an interface which has a sub-interface configured for EVPN that does not have a default or non-default VRF associated with it (i.e. there is no IP address for the sub-interface).

Configuration being applied which results in crash:
  interface Bundle-Ether 1
      identifier type 0
